Hello there!
My name is Paige L. Moore. I am a Doctoral Candidate and Research Fellow in the Municipal Research Lab in the School of Public and International Affairs and an Adjunct Professor in the School of Social Work at NC State University.
My research focuses on diversity, social equity, and inclusion in accessing government services, and identifying innovative solutions to social problems through research, analysis, and practice.
My dissertation explores the administrative burden of police complaint processes and the role of public administration in the design, development, and implementation of burdens experienced by community residents.
With a graduate degree in social work and an undergraduate degree in political science, my interests are primarily in macro matters. I believe that effective change begins with leaders who understand the needs of different populations and their respective worldviews while serving in both an advocate and ally capacity for effective and socially conscious change.
